NARENDRA KUMAR

Narendra Kumar aka Nari started his own label Narendra Kumar in 2000. The brand within 12 years was listed as one of the best men's brands in the world by the international edition of Esquire Magazine’s "50 Best Men Stores in the World" for their curated list of leading men's fashion globally.

Nari is currently the Creative Head for Amazon Fashion India. He has worked on conceptualizing the fashion cell & building the core team to launch Amazon Fashion. He also looked after social media activities, editorial content and forecast. He was India's first Fashion Editor, setting up the first international fashion magazine ELLE in India by creating the concept of a fashion editor for the very first time in the country.

His association with Bollywood goes a long way. He has styled for films such as Madhur Bhandarker’s Fashion styling Priyanka, Kangana and Mugdha, No Smoking, Blue, etc. Nari is also a personal stylist to many Indian film celebrities and sports personalities.

He is on the board of advisory members for Lakme Fashion Week and has helped in conceptualizing the implementation of a fashion week in India. Along with running his own fashion design company, Narendra has been a Consultant for many of India's leading textile mills such as Raymonds, Reid and Taylor, Grasim, Arvind Brands as well as Madura Brands. In addition, he also helped conceptualize and launch AND label. Nari also developed the work wear line for WESTSIDE as well as their youth brand Nuon launching them at fashion week.
